ELIGIBILITY

Entries are open to amateur golfers with an up-to-date Handicap Index® based on ratings for men not exceeding 0.4 under the Rules of Handicapping.

 

A current Handicap ID number (GHIN) issued through an authorized golf club is required and must be submitted on the entry form. The USGA accepts an up-to-date Handicap Index issued from authorized national and regional associations around the world, that would be equivalent to a Handicap Index within the prescribed limit for entry into the Championship. For this Championship, any reference to gender applies to all genders.

QUALIFIER SPECIFIC INFORMATION

  • This is a walking only qualifier.
    • Players may bring their own caddie - none are available through the host club
    • Players may carry their own bag
    • Pull carts are approved
  • Immediately following the close of entries, the NYSGA will email players:
    • Practice round scheduling instructions, please do not contact the host club pro shop
    • The Memorandum to Players, containing the final information for this qualifier
  • Food service varies by qualifier. Consult the Memorandum to Players for more information


LIVE SCORING VIA GOLF GENIUS APP

Live scoring will be utilized via the Golf Genius mobile app - players are instructed to download via their smartphone's app store (search "Golf Genius") in advance of their arrival to their starting hole.
